Follow these steps to apply to IC:

  1. Apply for Admission
  2. Submit Official High School Transcript
    • High school transcripts must include coursework completed through at least junior year
  3. Submit Test Scores (ACT or SAT)
    • Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Illinois College. The admission committee will closely review the strength of high school course selection, G.P.A., essay and overall involvement for those wishing not to submit test scores.
    • Students enrolling at Illinois College, must submit test scores prior to registration to assist in appropriate course placement.
    • Illinois College codes: ACT: 1034 or SAT and TOEFL: 1315
    • Home school students are required to submit test scores for admission. 

What we consider from your application:

   High School Admission Requirements

  1. Academic Record
    • 4 years of English/Language Arts
    • 3-4 years of Mathematics with Algebra 2 minimum
    • 2 years of lab science
    • 2 years of social science (including U.S. History)
    • 2 years of foreign language preferred if offered at high school
    • Students are highly encouraged to take academic honors, AP, and/or IB courses.

    2. SAT and/or ACT scores

  3. School and Community Involvement

  • A strong record of high school and community involvement is recommended
  • Students should list all activities in and outside of school from grade 9 through grade 12
  • Students should list all leadership and service based activities

   Home Schooled & Online Student Requirement

*Students from Indiana are required to have Core 40 or Academic Honors curriculum.

    2. SAT and/or ACT Scores

  • All home schooled and online students are required to submit scores for admission consider
