Schewe Library

The primary purpose of Schewe Library at Illinois College is to actively engage the IC community by providing resources and services to meet the educational, professional, and research needs of IC students, faculty, and staff. Schewe Library provides research assistance and access to books, laptops and other equipment, and databases with scholarly articles, films, and more.

Highlights

  • The library collaborates and partners with classrooms across campus and disciplines to provide research support and instruction.
  • Student research, internships, and student-faculty research opportunities provide hands-on experience through investigative projects, inventories, digital projects, and more.
  • Library spaces include a variety of study areas, the Khalaf Al Habtoor Archives, the Digital Learning Center, the Relaxation Room, a free coffee and tea station, and more.

Monday - Thursday | 7:45 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Friday | 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday | 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Sunday | 12 noon to 11 p.m.

The Library will be closed on all campus holidays.
